John McAfee died in a Catalan prison, days before his extradition to the US for tax evasion. John McAfee is one of those unique men who have illuminated technology for the past 20 years. He wasn’t smooth like the buggers and bitches you usually find in leftish Silicon Valley. It is known for its same name antivirus which has been used by millions of users.
Although he had said he did not use his own product and had never used an antivirus in his life. But John McAfee’s life was in turmoil. He has always flirted with the law. He had even established a sort of country on an island with weapons and drugs trafficking. When you are in this dark sector, then your cannot die of old age.
John McAfee was also involved in cryptocurrency a few years ago. At the time, he was the most influential man in the crypto sphere and charged $ 150,000 for a sponsored tweet. He was a libertarian at heart and he hated states. He supported Assange and his anti-Americanism was delicious.
According to the prison authorities, he committed suicide. And you can say whatever you want, but it wasn’t the kind to go on his own. He had been shot before, we had tried to poison him. But his shattering statements about the Epstein case are remembered and they both ended the same way.
Whatever people say, John McAfee was a great man, he left his mark on technology in his own way. He lived as a warrior and he died as such. Rest in peace, friend.
